Please note, for any return/ exchange to be considered, all original packaging must be kept, including the outer box as well as the inner packaging such as craft paper and bubble wrap
Refunds
At Ellie's Finishing Touches we do not offer refunds.
Once the order has been placed you have the right to cancel if you contact us with in 24 hours of placing the order. You can do so by emailing or calling 01708737578. After 24 hours of placing the order you can no longer cancel.
Exchanges
If the item is something that we stock (anything from our accessories and flowers categories) then you may exchange if you change your mind.
If the exchange is agreed the customer will be responsible for all postage costs to return the item. If the item is being returned it must be wrapped in original packaging, including the outer box, as if it arrives back damaged we cannot be liable for this. We also advise that the item is sent back with insurance, as if the item gets lost we cannot be held responsible and you will need to claim for this. The cost to send out the new item(s) will also need to be covered by the customer/ included in the credited amount.
Unfortunately many larger items have to be specifically ordered in, so anything from our furniture, lighting, mirrors and textiles categories cannot be returned. However please feel free to check this prior to ordering, as in special cases we may already have the item in store.
Bespoke items
Bespoke items can not be returned or exchanged as these are made to order
Damages/ faults
A lot of our items are very fragile and, although we make every effort to carefully package and protect each order, on rare occasions an order can be damaged in transit. Due to this, we ask that items are opened and checked on the day of delivery. If there happens to be a problem then please email us immediately with photos of the damage and we will arrange a replacement as soon as possible.
Property access
With larger items such as sofas and beds, we advise that you check dimensions prior to ordering to make sure that it will fit in the property/ chosen room. When ordering, you are confirming that you have ensured this problem will not occur
In the event that you unfortunately cannot get the item into your home we cannot take any responsibility for this. You are then liable to deal with this as we cannot take the item(s) back.
